2009 Christmas Parade
WOW!! What a day, a beautiful day at that. What an amazing turnout, with 85 acts entered into the parade. The Chamber has so many people to thank! In past years, the Chamber has asked each parade entry to donate one non-perishable food item to help stock the Elkhorn Food Pantry, this year we upped the anty to 5 and boy, did our entries step forward. The Chamber is very proud to announce that after the parade on Saturday, we dropped off $200 in monetary donations and approximately 600 pounds of food that was collected. People that have visited the food pantry for help has increased by 17% this year. We are very happy to help!
The event was a huge success and we are looking forward to planning next years' Christmas Parade, which will be held on December 4th, 2010.
